A. Information You Provide Directly

• Contact & Identity Information: Full name, residential street address, telephone number, and email address.
• Driver Eligibility & Verification: Valid government-issued driver’s license photo, date of birth (confirming 21+ age requirement), and a driver selfie holding photo ID for identity verification.
• Payment Information: Credit card billing details and transaction history. Payment transactions and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) installment plans (Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm) are processed securely through PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways. We do not store raw card numbers on our local servers.
• Vehicle Inspection & Return Photos: Odometer readings, fuel gauge photos, and interior/exterior condition photos uploaded during drop-off verification.

B. Information Collected Automatically

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for legitimate business and rental operations, including:

• Processing Reservations: Confirming bookings, managing rental schedules, and syncing availability with Turo.
• Driver Verification & Fraud Prevention: Verifying driving eligibility, driver’s license validity, and identity to safeguard our fleet and ensure community safety.
• Security Deposit Management: Authorizing and releasing the $250 refundable security deposit within 3–5 business days following vehicle return inspection.
• Customer Service & Vehicle Handover: Sending lockbox codes, vehicle parking location photos, reservation receipts, and roadside emergency notifications.
• Tolls & Violations Processing: Verifying EZPass usage, unpaid toll charges, or parking citations incurred during the rental period.

3. Sharing & Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Trusted Service Providers: Secure payment processors, identity verification tools, and communication service providers (email/SMS delivery) that assist in our operations under strict confidentiality obligations.
• Insurance & Fleet Claims: Providing necessary documentation to our insurance underwriters in the event of an accident, mechanical issue, or insurance claim.

We retain personal information, driver verification photos, and rental records for as long as necessary to fulfill rental contracts, resolve potential disputes, process toll/citation reimbursements, and comply with state and federal legal, tax, and accounting requirements.

By providing your phone number and completing a reservation or check-in form, you consent to receive transactional and operational text messages related to your trip (including vehicle location photos, lockbox access codes, and customer support).
